Originally from a fine art background, I have incorporated my illustration skills and techniques into my animations. I have a very distinctive, traditionally drawn 2d cartoon style that has been highly influenced by contemporary and historical artists such as Disney, Tim Burton and Salvador Dali. I enjoy adding this style into making short films, Fun interactive websites adverts and illustrations.

For me the, the most important aspect of animation is the detail in backgrounds, character design and movement of the figures. I also take great care and detail with creating the storyline as this will either be the making or breaking of your film.

Synopsis:
My intention was to create a visually strong piece of animation that makes my target audience (7-12 year old children) more aware of their decision making, The animation highlights the fact children should take responsibility for their own actions and decisions, whether the outcome is good or bad. In this particular case it is about a young naive boy’s quest to find home, where he faces tricky choice’s to achieve his goal.
